4.Nasogastric tube inserted to indentify esophagus
5.Positioning with neck slightly extended
6.Checked level with X-ray

8.Smith Robinson approach
9.Transverse skin incision
10.Dissected palatysma muscle
11.Deep cervical fascia incised anterior to SCM
12.Carotid sheath retracted laterally
13.Strap muscle, thyroid and esophagus are reteacted medially
14.Digital dissection done to the vertebral level
15.Prevertebral fasia open
16.Londus colli elevated and excised
17.Annulotomy
18.Disc are removed by pituitary rongeur
19.Caspar retractor applied to vertebra above and below
20.Tubular retractor (Insight) applied
21.Endplate is prepared by burr under microscopic vision
22.Dura exposed
23.Foraminotomy
24.Epidural Hemostasis by bipolar and gelfoam
25.Cage trial applied and sized
26.Choronos packed into cage
27.Awl and drill the screw holed
28.Confirmed under X-ray
29.VA locking screws inserted
30.Wound irrigation and haemostasis
31.Insert drainage
